Marvel Studios' re-released cut of Avengers: Endgame arrives in Indian cinemas this month with bonus footage tied to the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.
Advance booking for Avengers: Endgame: Encore opened across India on Friday, September 11, 2026, according to Mashable India, ahead of the film's theatrical return on September 25 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The re-release, confirmed globally for the same date by Marvel Studios and multiple international outlets, arrives nearly three months before Avengers: Doomsday opens on December 18, 2026.
New Footage and Doctor Doom Tease
The Encore cut runs approximately 185 minutes, about four minutes longer than the 2019 original, per Times of India reporting on updated theater listings from chains including AMC. The added runtime includes a custom introduction, new footage, a revised post-credits scene and an exclusive clip from Avengers: Doomsday, according to Variety's Australian edition and HollywoodLife. Variety reported the attached two-minute Doomsday clip is introduced by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell, and features Vanessa Kirby's Sue Storm warning other heroes about the Latverian villain Doctor Doom. ABC News noted that Doomsday trailers give audiences their first substantial glimpse of the character, alongside an ensemble spanning the Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men. Nerdist reported the Encore footage may retroactively show what Doctor Doom was doing during the original events of Endgame, though Marvel has not detailed the full narrative content of the new material.

India Screenings, Formats and Ticket Prices
Mashable India identified specific Infinity Vision-certified venues already selling tickets, including PVR C&B Square in Mumbai's Andheri East, which is running shows at 7:15 pm and 11:00 pm. Delhi's VR Promenade in Vasant Kunj and Cinepolis V3S East Centre, along with Kolkata's Cinepolis Lake Mall offering three daily shows, were also listed. Bengaluru is expected to receive Infinity Vision certification soon. Filmfare confirmed the film will screen in formats including 4DX, MX4D, Screen X, Dolby Vision, HDR Barco and ICE, alongside standard IMAX and Infinity Vision presentations. According to Mashable India, ticket prices in premium formats start around ₹500 and rise further for prime evening slots and large-format auditoriums. Internationally, tickets have been available since August 25 through Fandango, AMC and Regal, Yahoo Entertainment and Nerdist reported.
